The family trees were lovingly designed by JQ’s older sister Emily, using artwork by JQ’s late sister Violet. Each tree contains easter eggs specific to that book. Thousands of historical romance readers are set with an active Kickstarter account, but many more need to set up or simply activate a Kickstarter account. That’s the get ready part.

Don’t wait until the Kickstarter is live to get ready. If you click over to the JQ Editions Kickstarter and the Saved box (see below) is black and has white text that says “Notify me on launch” then you still need to get ready. Setting yourself up with an active Kickstarter account is free and doesn’t commit you to purchase anything. But it gets you ready and you will want to be ready.

So make haste over on Kickstarter. It’s super easy to set up. JQ’s mother did it in only a few minutes (but then JQ’s sister told her mom she didn’t need to go through Kickstarter but JQ’s mother said, “Nonsense.” So be like JQ’s mom and get your black box turned to “Saved”.)

As ever, JQ is happy to either sign or personalize books (please see step 3 in JQ’s HOW TO ORDER section on this site’s autographed page) ordered from University Bookstore. You can order any of JQ’s books for autographing, but in order to have the book both signed AND delivered on time, please note these shipping deadlines listed below.

It’s already December, so we recommend you select 2-day shipping. Even so, the bookstore uses the USPS and thus cannot guarantee a Christmas delivery.

If you select the Media Mail shipping option, the very latest holiday shipping dates we recommend for Hanukkah (last day) is December 2, and for Christmas, December 3. Again, we recommend selecting 2-day shipping.
