<itunes:summary>What does it mean when someone tells you they want to be part of a higher purpose? A couple months ago I stumbled upon the HR Chick on Instagram. My first interaction with her posts had me laughing hysterically, and I knew I had to reach out to her. Better known as Stephanie Krieg, she has a masters degree in organizational business and experience working in HR at one of the top fortune 100 companies. A couple years ago she started a blog at HRculture.com to bring awareness to great culture in the workplace and now she is launching truejob.com what she calls the netflix approach for posting and finding jobs. She has since been featured in Forbes top 100 websites for career, mashable, linkedin&#x2019;s pulse page, and recently spenhrculturet some time speaking to the European commission. She has a ton of experience with large organizations that have a firm grasp on dynamic culture. Let&#x2019;s listen to a clip where she explains what she has been seeing in company culture.

      <title>Modeling with Mike Linch</title>
<itunes:subtitle>A year ago I had the privilege of hosting a 2-day leadership intensive at NorthStar Church in Kennesaw Ga. During my time at this event, I got a chance to meet Mike Linch. Mike is not only the lead pastor of NorthStar, but also an integral source of encouragement and leadership in his community. The fact that we were using his facilities to host the event was a living example of his willingness to be involved in leadership development. I had a chance to connect with Mike recently to talk about leadership and culture and he made a statement to me regarding the way they model leadership in their community. Here's the clip.</itunes:subtitle>

<itunes:summary>Developing a great culture has everything to do with what we model. If I&#x2019;m going to say I value something but I don&#x2019;t model it then it&#x2019;s a conflict of what God has equipped and called me to do. Mike had mentioned earlier to me in our call that at Northstar their overarching values are that people matter to God, that they don&#x2019;t exist for themselves, and they are their to serve their community. Mike and his team model that by opening up their facilities each day regardless if something comes up and they might need them. That challenges me to evaluate the things God is calling me to manage.
