Plus I find it doubtful that it was just cardboard you threw away. If it was, I'm sorry and that's probably a pretty easy fix. It was a mistake but an avoidable mistake if you had been more one top of it.]]>FML #21610736's commentshttp://www.fmylife.com/money/21610736#c_154987392017-01-05T03:23:57-05:002017-01-05T03:23:57-05:00If the machine that caused the flooding/water damage was used following the instructions, and is within warranty, they are obligated to fix it or replace it with a new machine of the same or similar type.
As to your insurance, I'm pretty sure that if you have insurance for water damage, they are also obligated to fix the resulting damage, unless your insurance plan only covers damage done by natural disasters. I suggest going through your insurance handbook and see what your policy covers.
Either way, one of them HAS to pay for something. If the manufacturer won't cover it because it's "user error" and your insurance covers accidents, you can and should be able to use the manufacturer's statement to get your insurance to cover it, if you can get a written report on the cause.]]>FML #21611344's commentshttp://www.fmylife.com/work/21611344#c_154987382017-01-05T03:23:42-05:002017-01-05T03:23:42-05:00Lol I'm surprised the comments on this isn't closed yet. Obviously it's not a problem with the employers if the man says his daily prayers/recitals]]>FML #21610736's commentshttp://www.fmylife.com/money/21610736#c_154987362017-01-05T03:16:35-05:002017-01-05T03:16:35-05:001. Second, not all countries in the west are secular. Third, if the employee is praying during break time, how can that possibly affect anyone else?]]>FML #21610663's commentshttp://www.fmylife.com/animals/21610663#c_154987332017-01-05T03:11:14-05:002017-01-05T03:11:14-05:00In my next life I want to be an insect.]]>FML #21611344's commentshttp://www.fmylife.com/work/21611344#c_154987322017-01-05T03:10:48-05:002017-01-05T03:10:48-05:00Cardboard sheets used as prayer mats? :/]]>FML #21610736's commentshttp://www.fmylife.com/money/21610736#c_154987312017-01-05T03:01:39-05:002017-01-05T03:01:39-05:00You know the saying.

Especially since the smoke lingers not only in your clothes, but can have bubbles get trapped in your lungs/wherever.
Someone who smokes isn't very likely to care about that sort of thing, but I still suggest using alternative methods of getting your nicotine fix when around children.
In regards to the kid- you scared them, now you have to deal with the consequences.]]>FML #21610663's commentshttp://www.fmylife.com/animals/21610663#c_154987252017-01-05T02:46:35-05:002017-01-05T02:46:35-05:00Pray that it wasn't a bedbug.]]>FML #21611344's commentshttp://www.fmylife.com/work/21611344#c_154987242017-01-05T02:42:39-05:002017-01-05T02:42:39-05:00Praying does not belong in a work environment, period.
