In less than a week, Episode 4 of Celluloid Skeletons will be available for your listening pleasure. So let us give you a heads up on what to expect.

Jodie Foster has been working onscreen for almost fifty years. One of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood, with a string of iconic roles and a couple of Oscars to her name, she’s one of the few child stars to have successfully continued her career into adulthood. This episode Joe is joined by guests Michael Clancy and Ian Thomson in a look at Foster over the years before they turn their attention to a lesser known work in her filmography: the 1976 thriller The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane.

A weird little horror film that stars a 12 year old Jodie Foster and a deranged Martin Sheen, it’s the story of a mysterious young girl harbouring a dark secret.

If movies teach us anything, it’s to never trust a child that looks like this.
