Jonathan and I will be at NamesCon next week in Austin, Texas.

It’s one of the first “in person” events that we’ll have attended in quite some time and the first domain business related one I’ve been at in over two years. (I was in The Hague for the recent ICANN meeting but not at the actual event for reasons … )

I’ll be speaking on a panel on Wednesday after lunch entitled “Meet Customers Where They Are In Their Domain Name Journey” which is being organised by The i2Coalition’s Domain Name Association (“The DNA”). It’ll be the first time I speak at a public event in quite some time (I don’t count events via Zoom!).

NamesCon has become the “go to” event for domain name registrars, registries and domain name investors over the past few years, so it’s only natural that we’d want to be in attendance. It’s a good opportunity to catch up with the various registries we work with.

The speaker lineup for Austin this year is, as always, very good and the topics on the agenda cover a broad range of topics that are of interest to domain name investors and companies in the domain name space. Austin is a great location for an event and offers a good selection of eateries and watering holes, as well as plenty of live music.

If you’re heading to NamesCon 2022 and want to meet let us know!
