Australian researchers have made a surprise discovery, confirming a spate of scurvy cases among a group of patients in Sydney. They say the historical disease is making a comeback due to poor dietary choices.


Penny Jackson got the shock of her life when she found out she had scurvy.

She says she was tested when a wound on her leg took seven months to heal.
