The disaster movie The Wave won the Norwegian Amanda Award for best film and also won two other prizes. Louder Than Bombs won four awards, including best direction. Among the new films coming this season, Kongens nei (The Kings No), is the most anticipated. It tells the story of King Haakons rejection of the German occupation of Norway in 1940. Jesper Christensen and Anders Baasmo Christiansen play King Haakon and Crown Prince Olav.
