South Sudanese National Police spokesperson MG Daniel Justin Boulo said police is not keeping Gen Majier Abdalla under detention.
“For two Generals, Gen Majier Abdalla Mabior and General Garang Ajok Adut, our laws says that if the suspect is from the organised forces, he is to be handed back to his unit after the investigation and to remain there until the court is called. So after investigations, the two Generals were handed over to their unites pending the trial of the case. The other three civilians are now in Juba central prison and the investigation is still going on.”
