Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey is publicly supporting the pro-Palestine protesters currently occupying Columbia University campus.

The billionaire technology entrepreneur also criticized former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden for the recent “fascistic” crackdowns on the demonstrators. On Tuesday night, hundreds of protesters were arrested as police cleared out demonstrations on the school’s lawn with riot uniforms and tactical gear.

Dorsey made his support public last night with a series of post on X, formerly Twitter. He agreed with a post from left-wing political commentator Kyle Kulinsky who said the Columbia protesters were comparable to demonstrators who opposed the Iraq and Vietnam wars.

“Iraq war protesters were smeared & hated in the moment. Same with Vietnam war protesters. Today anybody with a functioning brain realizes they were 100% correct & the conventional wisdom was dead wrong,” Kulinsky wrote. “The fact that people don’t see this is exactly what’s happening now is astonishing.”

The former Twitter CEO responded with a “yes” to the post on his X account, which has more than six million followers.

Dorsey eventually took aim at the NYPD for using “military equipment” to subdue the protesters, noting that the tactics have been in use throughout the country “for over a decade.”

The tech mogul reposted a comment from Max Blumenthal who labeled a video of police removing demonstrators with the caption “Netanyahu’s America.”

Moreover, Dorsey agreed with a post from Caitlin Johnstone slamming both Trump and Biden by writing, “So glad Trump lost in 2020 otherwise we’d be seeing fascistic crackdowns on political dissent, police brutalizing protesters, tyrannical suppression of free speech, and the facilitation of racist and Islamophobic agendas.”

Dorsey further emphasized his criticism of the Republican and Democrat presidential nominees by reposting a tweet from one user who wrote, “The difference between this fascist pig and the one currently in office is how many words they use to convey the same thing.”
