Charlamagne Says Trump No Longer Wants to Run After Low-Energy Speech in Michigan: ‘He Wants to Be Put Out His Misery’
Charlamagne tha God believes Donald Trump’s most recent speech in Michigan shows he has no interest in running for president anymore.
Trump on Tuesday continued his campaign in Howell, Michigan. The speech was notably tame and without the former president’s usual enthusiasm.
Trump: You see her now with a smile and she’s gotten rid of the laugh over the last couple of days.. haven’t seen her laugh. But I’ll bet inside she was laughing last night when she saw the way Joe Biden left pic.twitter.com/c2B9TgR3xq

Trump: There’s been a report that the job numbers over the last period of time were fraudulent. I understand that because I know how the job numbers go. You want to be a bad person in high office, you can be a bad person but the numbers are going to be revised pic.twitter.com/glkxmeqOJ7

On Wednesday’s episode of The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne claimed the speech was proof that Trump’s heart is simply no longer in it.
“He don’t wanna be there no more, man,” he said. “You can hear it in his voice. Donald Trump is over it. He does not want to be the Republican nominee no more. He is hoping Republicans do him the way the Democrats did [Joe Biden]. He wants to be put out his misery. You can hear it in his voice.
“Nikki Haley told y’all months ago, she said, ‘The first party to get rid of their 80-year-old candidate was gonna win this election.’ That’s why Democrats have so much energy right now. Republicans should’ve done the same. There is no way Donald Trump should’ve been y’all nominee. There is no way.”
