50 Cent Claims He Was Offered $3 Million to Perform at Trump Rally at MSG But Turned It Down

Rapper 50 Cent revealed on Tuesday that he was offered $3 million to perform at Donald Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally. He declined.

On Tuesday morning’s episode of The Breakfast Club, 50 Cent — whose real name is Curtis Jackson — was asked by host DJ Envy about the rumor that Trump tried to pay for his endorsement. That’s when Jackson clarified and said he was asked to perform at Sunday’s rally.

“I got a call about the — they wanted me to [perform on] Sunday,” he said.

Charlamagne the God predicted that the Trump campaign wanted Jackson to perform his hit song “Many Men.” Since the former president was shot at a June rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, that song has been used at campaign events. Jackson was famously shot nine times in 2000.

“They offered me $3 million,” Jackson continued. “This past Sunday.”

The 49-year-old added that he was also offered money to perform at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He wasn’t interested in either opportunity because he’s “afraid” of politics.

“I do not like it,” Jackson said as the hosts laughed. “No part of politics. No gang-banging, no politics.”

“You know, it’s because when you do get involved in it, no matter how you feel, someone passionately disagrees with you. I stay away from religion; I stay away from politics.”
