Donald Trump was handed down his sentence Friday following the May "hush money" trial verdict.

Looking visibly fatigued during his court appearance this morning via video feed from his estate in Palm Beach, Florida, Trump faced sentencing on 34 felony counts related to concealing a payout to an adult film star by falsifying business records.

He received an "unconditional discharge," avoiding jail time, fines, or probation supervision, setting his path clear for taking office on Jan. 20.

Body language guru Judi James dissected Trump's courtroom demeanor today, noting a departure from his usual tension-filled appearances.

She observed: "This does not seem to be Trump in the same hunched, vengeful alpha body language mode as he adopted during some of her previous court appearances and even his iconic mug shot.", reports the Irish Star.

"For some of these poses, he is instead projecting an air of superiority with his raised brows and his slightly jutting lower lip. His eye-gaze looks more distant as though he is thinking of other things, and we can almost see a sigh in one of the pics where his lips have parted. There's no splaying of the chest or baleful eye expressions."

She interpreted his posture as indicative of Trump moving past this tumultuous period, poised to tackle the presidential challenges that lie ahead over the next four years.

James noted: "What we seem to have then is a 'Gulliver' state, i.e. someone bigger and stronger than the little people who are trying to pull him down. It implies less that he is physically tired but emotionally tried of all this at a point where he has more important things to do."

"His forward point looks more confrontational and here he does engage his eye focus but in a gesture of what looks like a reminder of his authority and the high office he is about to acquire."

Just after attending former President Jimmy Carter's funeral, where he was spotted sitting alongside ex-President Barack Obama, sharing a laugh during the service on Thursday.
