Caitlyn Jenner is brutally mocked online for supporting Trump as fans point out detail in inauguration speech
Caitlyn Jenner was brutally mocked for supporting President Donald Trump even after he signed an executive order recognizing only two genders.
Jenner, one of the most recognizable transgender women in the world, has backed Trump since 2016 and is a longtime Republican.
'Congratulations Mr. President. Thanks be to God!' Jenner posted on X the afternoon Trump was inaugurated.
The backlash was swift, with many people calling her 'Bruce', calling her a hypocrite for supporting a man who is so opposed to her community, and replying with pictures of her before she transitioned.
'So Bruce how does it feel now that Trump signed an executive order that there are only two immutable genders, and your gender will need to be reflected accurately,' one person wrote. 'How's it feel to be a guy again?'
'Sure, whatever. He just EO'd you back to Bruce,' another replied with a picture attached of Jenner from the 1990s, years before she underwent her transition in 2015.
'You got about half an hour left as ma'am and it's back to sir for you Bruce,' a third wrote in response.
A fourth simply replied: 'You're a disgrace to your entire community.'

Jenner also made a series of Instagram posts on Inauguration Day. In one, she declared she was 'happier than ever' supporting Trump.
That post was similarly full of derisive comments attacking the former Olympian and one-time gold medalist.
On Wednesday night, she posted a picture of herself outside the Starlight Inaugural Ball, alongside Attorney General nominee Pam Bondi, Trump lawyer Alina Habba, Jeanine Pirro and longtime friend Sophia Hutchins.
This post had comments restricted, preventing an influx of abuse which she is experiencing on X.
During his inaugural address, Trump made the official declaration that there are only two genders amid promises to rename the Gulf of Mexico, end 'America's decline' and repel the 'invasion' of migrations at the southern border.
'As of today, it will henceforth be the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders - male and female,' he said, prompting a standing ovation from within the Capitol Rotunda.
Trump reiterated and expanded on that sentiment in an executive order he signed on Inauguration Day titled: 'Defending Women From Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government.'
'It is the policy of the United States to recognize two sexes, male and female. These sexes are not changeable and are grounded in fundamental and incontrovertible reality,' the order read.

Jenner has yet to respond to Trump's statements or the executive order.
The executive order was predictable given Trump's past statements on transgender issues on the campaign trail.
Speaking at the AmericaFest in Arizona in December, Trump said: 'With a stroke of my pen on Day 1, we're going to stop the transgender lunacy.
'And I will sign executive orders to end child mutilation, get transgender out of the military and out of our elementary schools and middle schools and high schools.
'And we will keep men out of women's sports. And that will, likewise, be done on Day 1. Should I do Day 1, Day 2 or Day 3? How about Day 1?'
Trump notably put out a series of tweets in July 2017 banning transgender people from serving in the military.
This reportedly blindsided officials within the Pentagon, despite Trump claiming he was advised to take the action from 'my Generals and military experts.'
In January 2019, the Supreme Court allowed Trump's transgender military ban to go forward.
After former President Joe Biden reversed it, Trump effectively restored the ban two days ago.

Jenner broke with Trump on the transgender military ban at the time, writing on social media: 'There are 15,000 patriotic transgender Americans in the US military fighting for all of us. What happened to your promise to fight for them?'
She also called the ban a 'half-baked idea' that 'puts all of our service members in harm's way.'
In the 2021 election to recall California Governor Gavin Newsom, Jenner ran as a Republican.
After a campaign marred by a poor CNN interview, her decision to wait 70 days before holding her first press conference, and low polling numbers, Jenner received only one percent of the vote amid six candidates.
After Trump won in November, Jenner said she was considering another run for California governor.
Jenner added that she would 'destroy' former Vice President Kamala Harris if she were to run in 2026.
