Super Bowl 59 ticket prices plummet as fans predict Kansas City Chiefs ‘fatigue’ ahead of Eagles showdown

TICKET prices are plummeting ahead of the Super Bowl.
The Kansas City Chiefs are headed to their fifth Super Bowl in the last six seasons, and ticket prices show that fans are getting tired of it.
On Monday, get-in pricing for the big game sat around $4,600 for a ticket.
While that is still a hefty price for a football game, it is down thousands from last year.
At this point last year, entry-level Super Bowl tickets were sitting at over $7,000.
Similar tickets from the Super Bowl in Glendale, Arizona two years ago were at $6,000.
Multiple factors are contributing to the lower prices for this year's Super Bowl.
First of all, this is a rematch of Super Bowl LVII in 2023., so fans have already seen this matchup go down.
Also, the Caesars Superdome has a larger capacity than the previous two Super Bowl venues.
Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, where last year's game was played, and State Farm Stadium in Arizona, where the 2023 matchup was held, both have capacities of around 65,000 fans.
The Superdome can hold around 74,000 fans.
While there are more tickets at a lower price, other factors could actually increase the cost of attending this year's Super Bowl.
There are fewer available flights to New Orleans versus other locations, and the cost of hotels is higher because the city is already a popular tourist destination.
Even with the seats being cheaper this year, NFL fans are baffled by the cost of the Super Bowl and shared their thoughts on social media.
"I make fairly good money, but I looked at the cost of the Super Bowl tickets and closed Ticketmaster expeditiously," one fan said.
"Just looked up Super Bowl tickets… ranges from $4,800 to $7,000 really?" another fan said.

"I do not have Super Bowl ticket money," a third fan said.
"$16,135 for two Super Bowl tickets. Service fees $4,000 alone to ensure a safe and secure transaction. Hope those tickets are hand delivered," a fourth fan said.
"So basically everyone that goes to the Super Bowl is rich??!? Lol," a fifth fan said.
For the last few years, the hospitality company On Location, which was recently bought by sports and entertainment behemoth Endeavor, has controlled the Super Bowl ticket resale market.
On Location is the NFL's official hospitality provider and controls how and when the ticket inventory becomes available.
Very little of that ticket inventory hits the primary market at face value.
