‘Sand N-Word’: Trump FBI Pick Reveals Shocking Racist Attack at Hearing in Explicit Detail

Trump FBI director nominee Kash Patel revealed a shocking racist attack leveled against him at his confirmation hearing on Thursday, reading aloud a message in which he was called a “sand [n-word” and a “terrorist.”

President Donald Trump’s nomination of Patel to be FBI director is among the more controversial picks the president has made. Patel has promoted conspiracy theories, denied the 2020 election results, and has threatened to “come after” perceived enemies of Trump.

But Trump’s nominees, save one, have thus far managed to survive  the confirmation process and on Thursday, it was Patel’s turn.

At a confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) began his questioning by asking Patel if he’s ever “been subject to racism as an individual?”:

SEN. LINDSEY GRAHAM: Have you ever been subject to racism as an individual?

KASH PATEL: Unfortunately, Senator, yes. Don’t wanna to get into those details with my family here.

SEN. LINDSEY GRAHAM: Let’s get into a few of them.

KASH PATEL: (LAUGHS).

SEN. LINDSEY GRAHAM: Tell me about it.

KASH PATEL: Well, if you look at the record from January 6th, where I testified before that committee. Because of my personal information being released by Congress, I was subjected to a direct and significant threat on my life. And I put that information in the record. I had to move.

In that threat I was called. A detestable. And I apologize if I don’t get it. All right. But it’s in the record. A “detestable sand-n***er” who had “no right being in this country. You should go back to where you came from. You belong with your terrorist home friends.”.

That’s what was sent to me. That’s just a piece of it. But that’s nothing compared to what the men and women in law enforcement face every day. And that’s why they have my support.

SEN. LINDSEY GRAHAM: Okay. Growing up, were you subject to racism?

KASH PATEL: Yes, sir.
