EU resumes imports of Ukrainian poultry

Ukraine, a major supplier of poultry products, said on Monday the European Union had lifted all limits on Ukrainianpoultry exports imposed last year.

Ukraine reported an outbreak of bird flu among backyard birds in the southern part of the country in early December 2020 and since then exports have been suspended.

The overall export of poultry meat from Ukraine rose 4% in 2020 to 431,000 tonnes.
