<itunes:summary>You've survived Friday the 13th and the Ides of March, and your reward is... another Monday morning. Fortunately, the AM is here to fill these early morning hours with good vibrations and offbeat easy listening.

This week's throwback is to AM patron saints Stereolab, and the 30th anniversary of their Emperor Tomato Ketchup. That classic is surrounded by eclectic sounds, from synth-enhanced Ethio-jazz to ghostly shoegaze to new-age Kosmische. All with the express aim of starting your week on stable ground.

Enjoy!

Playlist:

Bill Orcutt, Mabe Fratti - Almost Waking

Alabaster dePlume - It's Only Now Once (Elbit Systems Windowpane)

Kibrom Birhane - YEGEDEL MAMITU የገደል ማሚቱ

Pacific Coliseum - Floating Petals

The Besnard Lakes - Give Us Our Dominion - Ghost Mix

Rosenau & Sanborn - Harm

Polypores - Wrigglers

Hiro Ama - Booster

Underworld - Winjer

Brendan Sound System - July

Barnaby Bennett - Royal Laurel

Various Artists, featuring Arooj Aftab, Beck - Lilac Wine

The Orielles - Whenever (I May Not Feel So Close)

Ora Cogan - The Smoke

dagmar zuniga - Plenty for All the Masses

Cindy - Procession

Spencer Cullum's Coin Collection - Jackie Paints

Stereolab - Cybele's Reverie

Stereolab - Les Yper-Sound

Raleigh - Syd

Foxwarren - Strange - Dan the Automator Remix

Monster Rally, featuring Henry Mancini - Flight to Capri

The Notwist - The Turning

Elastic Stars - Falls Back

Tomo Katsurada, Misha Panfilov - Mostra

Natural Magic - Galaxy Builder

New Age Doom, H.R. - We're All the Same

Sook-Yin Lee - Locked Boy

Vinyl Williams, featuring Nailah Hunter - Soulgaze

Memorials - Dropped Down the Well

Dummy - Tapestry Distortion

McCaslin Dahle - Henry Takes the 5th

Psst Shh - Crass Video Mist

Broken Social Scene - Hey Amanda

</itunes:summary>

International Women's Day was yesterday, but it hardly seems fair that it only got 23 hours.
