My picky cat has decided she no longer wants deli sliced low salt ham for her midmorning and/or afternoon snack. She does still love Delectables but they are not all that easy to find! The other day--when looking--and waiting for the Delectables to be delivered I spotted Temptations Creamy Purrrr.ee. Now I know she loves Temptations Treats so I figured--it was worth a try. She definitely approves!!
Now there are two cat treats that can barely be found in the stores!! Of course she threw me for a loop this afternoon when she insisted on sharing my ham (and swiss). She actually carefully lifted the top slice of bread and started to help herself to the Black Forest ham within!! I caught her in the act. Yes, I did give her a couple of small pieces--and NO I will not be purchasing deli ham for her anymore--or so I say now-------

Lady Fieldhurst's husband was murdered--but not by her although it seemed all the clues led one to beleive that. Bow Street Runner John Pickett managed to prove her inncense-if you haven't read book 1 in this series-the above will be more clear if you do!
Lady Fieldhurst was invited to spend the summer in rural Yorkshire--she traded in her black widow weeds for gray and accepted. Things are not always what they seem or how you would wish them to be. Then after a dinner party the vicar was found dead. Lady Fieldhurst suspected foul play and wrote to John Pickett to come and help investigate. He came and pretended to be the footman of Lady Fieldhurst. It was definitely not easy and there are some parts that will make you smile.

Family dynamics can be--well--life altering! Naomi and Tina are identical twins-except for their personalities. Naomi is and always has been the good twin. Tina is really something else!! She called Naomi to come and help her. Of course Naomi did-after skipping out on her wedding! Only to find that Tina had a daughter which she left for Naomi to take care of in a little town--that wasn't bad enough--Tina stole her car, her money etv etc etc which left Naomi in a bind.
Knox saw her and thought she was her sister--when he realized his mistake he figured he better help her out! Knox was a loner who did not do couples-except maybe one night stands. He got her a place to stay, a job--but then could not quite let go. He definitely was the protective type.
You will laugh and sometimes cry about what they go through--it might remind you of things that went on in your own life or that of someone you know.
After a lot of turmoil there is a very happy ending.

Erin's partner is a K-9 dog--and a really smart one. If you have to have a partner then he is the one to have-but you better know commands in German because that was where he came from! NYC is not the easiest place to have the night shift-but with Rolf it was safer. Of course social life-what social life--until she met up with a guy who was involved in the art world.
She was called to a breakin and the guys made off with rent a cop uniforms---Erin knew there was something off about this--but not until she went on a date to a major art show and a priceless portrait was stolen that she began to put two and two together.

Poor Max--he is definitely an absent minded professor with a not so cool temper! He threatened his neighbor in public--and now he is under suspicion for murder!! The only one who can calm him down is Sheridan Hendley. She knows that he is incapable of murder much less drug smuggling! In trying to solve this case she ends up getting hurt. There are twists and turns aplenty in this one and I for one could not put it down until the very end!

Croissants are buttery morning pasteries-or so I thought. Yes, I had seen croissants with sandwich type fillings but never thought to try one. I had purchased 4 of them in a box from the Fresh Market and was having one each morning with a cup of coffee--pure heaven! Then came the day when I had no regular bread in my apartment--it was lunch time and I was starving. I really felt like a sandwich---
I did have some seafood salad (also from the Fresh Market). I proceeded to cut the croissant in half-spread the seafood salad on it closed it and cut it in half. The croissants from the Fresh Market are big!! It was delicious abd filling.
I will probably try other fillings (tuna salad, egg salad, ham) and maybe even buy one of the sandwichs premade on a croissant that are for sale at the Fresh Market. My only problem being that I dislike mayo--less of it is better in my opinion--so I will probably make the fillings myself!

I actually read and reviewed book 2 in this series--one of these old days I will start to make sure I read in order!! I remember enjoying that one and I certainly enjoyed this one! Mystic Notch is a kind of magical place but Wilhelmina Chance who just moved back there after many years never knew that. She was in a bad accident and now she hears and sees ghosts. Of course she does not let anyone but her BFF know this---
Her cat is a member of the cats who watch out for humans. She is beginning to suspect that the cat actually understands her--but is keeping that to herself. The librarian was murdered and her ghost appears to Wilhelmina insisting she find the murderer. The cats try to help her out!
There are lots of twists and turns and gulps and laughs before there is a happy ending!

I stop at a Dunkin Donut store at least once a week--in the summer even more. I usually ignore all the new coffees they seem to be coming out with but I had to try the Ice Sunrise Blend Iced Coffee. I tend to like a milder coffee which is why I used to get the Original Blend.
It was love at first sip through that straw. I did not seem as acidic as some of the coffees I've had there or those I buy at home. I have them add 2 or 4 sweet n lows (depending on my mood) and almond milk. Pure heaven and it wakes me up!
I did try one of the other coffees and although I liked it--I will stick to non flavored coffees. They really have come out with a lot of new items in their stores--and of course the glazed donut--my favorite of them all!!
You really have to stop in at the Dunkin's near you and see all the new items--some may be for a short time only-I am not sure.
Be sure to try the Iced Sunrise Coffee while you are there--it comes in small, medium and large. I bought a small the first time --now it is large all the way!!
Oh what I couldn't do with either a $200 PayPal or a $200 Amazon! PayPal would certainly help me with gas and maybe groceries I only purchase instore. Amazon would help with everything else-and we all know there is lots to chose from on Amazon--from school supplies to gifts etc etc etc! So get down there and enter
